Nothing says Christmas time like eggnog and delicious holiday treats and sweets. This easy eggnog fudge recipe combines two of our favourite holiday treats – fudge and eggnog. What more could you ask for?
Be sure to make extra, because this is one treat that will disappear quickly.
It also makes a great little holiday gift for teachers, co-workers and neighbours – or anyone really!
Eggnog Fudge Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup eggnog
- 2 cups white granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup marshmallow creme
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper.
In a medium saucepan add the butter, eggnog and sugar.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Cook until it reaches 225 degrees Fahrenheit. (Use a candy thermometer to check.)
Add the white chocolate chips and stir until melted.
Add in the marshmallow creme and vanilla. Stir to combine, until smooth.
Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the top with nutmeg.
Let set for 3 hours.
Remove from dish and cut into 1 inch squares.
